When two motorcycle-obsessed travelers—Sam Smith and Christian Riesenmy—landed in Colombia nearly a decade ago, they didn’t expect to build a business. They just wanted to ride. But after months of exploring high-altitude volcanoes, coastal deserts, jungle trails, and forgotten mountain passes, one thing became clear: Colombia is an adventure motorcycling paradise—and barely anyone knew about it.

That’s when Adrenaline Addicts Motorcycle Tours was born.

“We’re not just renting bikes—we’re building real connections to the culture, the landscapes, and the thrill of the ride,” says co-founder Sam Smith. “People come to Colombia for the adventure—but they leave with stories that last a lifetime.”

In August, Sam and Christian will be at Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado, sharing their story and inviting riders to experience Colombia firsthand—with a chance to ride with the founders themselves.
